I never donate to bums or people begging on the street, but I walk by this little one and her dad at least 4 times a day. Sometimes she is curled up in a ball, trying to keep warm while she sleeps. Sometimes she has a jacket on.
I just love her. I gave them a euro on Friday morning, which is when I took this picture, and it probably won't be the last I give. I was having fantasies of giving her treats and food and maybe a new coat and could I just take her for a walk maybe?? But I will probably just give her a rub or two and make sure to wash my hands well afterward.
