Food Interlude

To break up all of the vacation photos, here's some food!


Some mackerel I pan-fried and served with a yogurt-lemon-garlic-dill sauce.  Oh, and some salad and sweet potatoes.  Oh boy, was this good!



The new obsession at the Ingledings?  Injera!  I bought some Berbere spice mix at the food hall in CPH, so we've been on Ethiopian food ever since.  I've been making this simplified (read: no yeast or starter necessary) injera and now I can't get enough.  Like, I smell the bread and I feel a little animal.  Teff flour must be my thing.  Who knew?



A deconstructed sushi bowl I pulled together one night.



Those Mickey Mouse ears are actually piece of socca with some manchego and Baharat spice blend (thanks again CPH food hall!) on top.
